Football
After its big win against McNary on Friday, West Salem is now 6-1 and up to No. 5 in the OSAA Class 6A rankings.
In 5A, Silverton (No. 4) and North Salem (No. 10) are in the top 10, as is Cascade (No. 2) in 4A, Amity (No. 9) and Dayton (No. 10) in 3A. Three schools broke the top 10 in 2A: Kennedy (No. 2), St. Paul (No. 3) and Perrydale (No. 9).
Volleyball
Salem Academy remains at the top of Class 2A, with the No. 1 OSAA ranking.
In 6A, South Salem (No. 5) is still in the top 10, as are Silverton (No. 6) and Dallas (No. 9) in 5A, Cascade (No. 2) in 4A, Scio (No. 5) in 3A, and St. Paul (No. 3) in 1A.
Boys soccer
The boys soccer teams in the Mid-Valley continue to shine this season, with several teams near the top of the state.
In 6A, South Salem (No. 4) is in the top 10, as are North Salem (No. 4), Silverton (No. 6) and Woodburn (No. 9) in 5A, Stayton (No. 2) and Cascade (No. 9) in 4A, and Dayton (No. 7) in 3A/2A/1A.

Girls soccer
Woodburn remains unbeaten at 6-0-4 this season, and they are No. 6 in the 4A OSAA rankings.
