How to make a Cute Bunny Craft

Step 1: Form the Bunny Body

  • Cut a slit in the paper plate going from the outside to the center.
  • Overlap the plate at the cut that you just made so that the plate forms a slight cone shape.
  • Use your stapler to secure the plate in this shape by stapling on the cut.

Step 2: Use the Free Bunny Craft Template

  • Print the bunny craft template.
  • Use it to cut out the head for your rabbit from white construction paper. (Or simply cut it out if you printed it onto white cardstock.)

*If you don’t have access to a printer, draw an oval, approximately 5×6 inches in size and draw on the bunny ears. Then cut out the shape.

Step 3: Decorate Your Bunny

  • Use markers or crayons to decorate the face of your bunny. The eyes should be closed since your bunny is sleeping.
  • During this step, you can also add any other details you would like to the body of your bunny (paper plate).

Step 4: Put Together Your Cute Bunny Craft

  • Use your glue stick to attach the face of your bunny over the slit in the plate. Place it at a slight angle so that the bunny appears to be sleeping.
  • Use Elmer’s glue or a glue dot to attach the large white pompom to the plate as the tail of your bunny. For proper placement, think of the bunny all curled up in a ball sleeping peacefully and visualize where the tail would be.
