Unraveling the Truth of a Case (2024)

Before I dive into my topic about this recent video of Pierogi getting exposed by his formal employee, please allow me to talk about who Pierogi is. For those who don’t know, I hope you get some idea of he is and what he does after reading this.

Pierogi is a Youtuber (Youtube channel: Scammer Payback) and a scambaiter who exposes scammers and saves victims from being scammed. In the videos, he has quite a few characters including Vivian Roger and Wilson Carter. Vivian Roger portraits as a grandmother of Pierogi whilst Wilson Carter is a grandpa who also acts as a public speaker who enjoys holding meetings and conferences. He has all these characters just to mess around with scammers, wasting their time trying to take victims money out of their pocket.

According to the podcast, The Perfect Scam: Inside the World of a Scam-Busting YouTuber, Pierogi worked in the IT field, specifically in Cybersecurity for a few years and the scammers went after his grandma in a different way. That was the reason why he started making his effort to go after those criminals and also the reason he started scambaiting those scammers. After years of scambaiting, he managed to save hundreds of victims and shut down a few call centers in India. Sometimes it’s stressful to deal with victims but hard work does pay off.

Just few days ago, I saw a post on Reddit about someone talking about Pierogi on Youtube. I was so curious about it. So, I started watching it. After watching for quite some time, I started feeling pissed and confused because the stuff the Youtuber said didn’t make sense and I was pretty sure it wasn’t true. I felt the need to stop watching just to calm myself down. After a while, I started seeing a flow of comments coming in from Reddit. They have comments like, “Pierogi is cheating on his wife”, “Pierogi is paying her to drink and have sexual encounters, $ for HKD” (HKD[High Key Drunk] is the channel that the person, not the real Pierogi, created in the server), “Pierogi is an asshole. He’s tried to hit on another women in the same way within his discord. One I know for sure and others who are reluctant to speak up.”, “Pierogi abused his position of power over her to exploit her for his own sexual gratification.” I couldn’t stop thinking about it because it doesn’t make any sense at all. So, I started watching the whole video again.

After watching the whole video, I began to have bunch of questions in my head. There was this ‘P man’ username on Discord. Who is this P man? I’m pretty sure it wasn’t the real Pierogi because I know he is a caring guy and he doesn’t deserve any of this. Then, I started went through the Discord server. Something told me that it wasn’t right. “Deleted user”? What had happened there? Maybe his account got hacked, I don’t know. That makes me so suspicious until now. It’s the question that left unanswered. Everything just doesn’t add up. Then, I started making comment on Youtube saying the video is fake and all that. People already started commenting on it counter arguing about everything.

At night, Brandon who is the brother-in-law of Pierogi told the people in Discord server that he would tell everyone his thought on it. I joined because I wanted to know what was actually going on. He told us that Hina did have health issues and suicidal problems before and she kept asking Brandon about her personal issues. She even asked him stuff about Cocaine and Morphine. It seemed like she needed more attention than usual which made Brandon and his team quite annoyed. So, he decided to speak to Hina and told her that he couldn’t look after her 24/7 as he got other work to do as well. But at the end of the day, the video has nothing to do with Pierogi even though he drinks. That is just an AI doing all the talk the whole time.

I have to admit that the comment someone posted on Reddit is on point. This is what she said:

Screenshots can be easily doctored, similar to how scammers manipulate websites or fake bank accounts using the INSPECTOR tool. However, it’s important to note that with DISCORD, a user’s HANDLE can be anything, including what may seem like a duplicate name in the DISPLAY NAME field on the same server space. However, a USERNAME is unique, and that distinction is not depicted here (just search for “New Usernames Display Names” under Discord Support for more clarification). An imposter account could easily be created to manipulate a fabricated conversation(s) and make them appear “authentic” to someone not familiar with the service.

There have been several fake Discord handles impersonating him found on other servers, as well as accounts on other social platforms. So, it’s not beyond the realm of possibility for someone to engage in such malicious activities, either from her or someone else.

Also, note that with Discord, at the 8:20 mark, you can see the handle name in lowercase as “pierogisp,” when in fact it is case-sensitive for the real account “PierogiSP” for those who know him there. This discrepancy seems to be corrected later in the video, which, to me, appears to be fabricated.

@ 50:39 — correction: He does not go to MANY cities for church. He only goes to ONE. He does not see a PRIEST but rather a PASTOR. Their choice of words is telling in the details. He is very religious and takes his faith and family VERY seriously. Get making light of it was a slap in the face.

All financial matters of the business go through BRANDON. Personally, I have taken on a small job myself (video edits) as a community member, and all transactions went through him around the same time.

We see absolutely no proof of pics/vids of “Pierogi” exposing himself or engaging in inappropriate visual behavior through this “supposed” conversation, only imgs of Dictionary. It is assumed that they were the only party distributing pics/vids of themselves. Unfortunately, from this perspective, it sounds like Dictionary was throwing themselves at this accnt (fake accnt) in a desperate attempt to make it appear factual.

@ 28:48 (9/26/22 hotel?) Well, we know he was in attendance at TwitchCon and sharing a room with Brandon and other editors, with late nights spent going out for dinner, streaming, and only crashing for a few hours to get enough sleep for the next day. Hardly much downtime for this kind of mess.

This seems like a disgruntled fan-girl that warped a story of what was once a friendship and freelance working gig into something he does not engage in. They simply wanted to hurt a successful individual who no longer had their full-time attention and desire to try and break up a marriage in the process with fabricated content. Do as much MAX damage as possible for financial gain as some form of retribution.

This just reminds me of how one woman tried to take LTT (Linus Tech Tips) down. This seems to have followed the same script!

Mind you, follow facts. But wait to hear the other side before casting stones.

I know there are lots of people target certain content creators and even movie stars using AI. I remember years ago when people trying to use deepfake go against Tom Cruise, that was one of the news about AI. I don’t see why they have to make videos to target certain creators, especially Pierogi when he didn’t do anything. I am a supporter of him from day one I watched his videos and I believe Pierogi is a good man. He doesn’t deserve any of this at all. What they’re saying about him about cheating is so wrong. They just believe based on ‘proof’ without having to actually do research on their own. In my opinion, this is the major problem and this will just make things worse. Someone must have manipulated them and the AI is making them believe what they see and it’s making them gullible. This will not only hurt the person, but also destroying his own image when he or she doesn’t do anything.

After this issue, I know that Pierogi needs a long break, according to Brandon and that he will look after him for sure. But at the end of the day, I hope he will recover soon and return to his streams in no time. I will understand if he needs some time and it won’t be soon. Someone has already reported the video and I hope it will get taken down soon to avoid spreading false information into the community.
