SUSTAINABILITY GOALS AND TARGETS
Hexcel has established the following long-term sustainability targets to be achieved by 2030. These goals were developed to further our global commitment to a healthier, safer, and more sustainable future for our people and our planet.
30% reduction
greenhouse gas emissions
As a critical component of our climate actions, Hexcel commits to a 30% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions intensity between 2019 - 2030.
30% reduction
in waste to landfill
Hexcel commits to reducing waste by 30% between 2019 - 2030.
20% reduction
in freshwater use
By 2030, Hexcel will reduce its once-through freshwater use in its manufacturing processes by 20% between 2019 - 2030.
10% increase
We will increase our giving through the Hexcel Foundation by 10% a year 2022 through 2025.
100% acceptance
All critical direct suppliers will accept theHexcel Supplier Code of Conductor will demonstrate acceptance of a comparable code governing their own activities.
100% compliance
We actively promote 100% compliance with all laws, regulations and company policies governing human trafficking, forced and child labor, discrimination, harassment, privacy rights, fair labor practices and freedom of association.
100% diversity sourcing
We will source diverse slates for 100% of our external salaried positions, including executive management and board of director level appointments.

GOVERNANCE OF SUSTAINABILITY
Our board oversees management’s efforts to integrate sustainability principles into Hexcel’s business strategy in ways that optimize opportunities to make positive impacts while advancing long-term financial and sustainability goals.
NOMINATING, GOVERNANCE AND SUSTAINABILITY COMMITTEE
Our nominating, governance and sustainability committee supports the board in its sustainability oversight responsibility by regularly reviewing the company’s sustainability strategy, including initiatives, goals, policies and disclosuresin the company’s key areas of focus.

SUSTAINABILITY STRATEGY TEAM
A cross-functional team of Hexcel leaders,led by our Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary and overseen by senior executive leadership, is responsible for leading our sustainability strategy and executing our sustainability initiatives, goals, policies and disclosures. The sustainability strategy team reports directly to the Nominating, Governance and Sustainability Committee of the board.
