Madylin Sweeten's Everybody Loves Raymond character Ally Barone was incredibly cute. She has two brothers, Geoffrey and Michael Barone, and grows up throughout the show's 8-season run.
After Everybody Loves Raymond concluded in 2005, Sweeten waited a little while before acting again.
She starred in the 2008 action movie Eagle Eye before joining the sketch series TMI Hollywood, which aired from 2013 to 2015. She seems to have gravitated toward comedy and shorts after playing Ally Barone. She co-wrote the short film Wedding Frisk, which was released in 2014, and also was an executive producer.
While Ray Ramono earns money from the sitcom today, Madylin Sweeten could also be receiving some cash in the form of residuals. According to Celebrity Net Worth, she has a net worth of $5 million. This money could have offered a cushion so she could act in whatever she wanted to instead of being concerned about making a living.

Madylin Sweeten is now 32 years old and was 14 when Everybody Loves Raymond was done. While she stayed in Hollywood for a while, it doesn't appear that she wanted to be a famous actress for the rest of her life. Her last acting credit was "Talkative Young Lass" in a 2019 episode of Lucifer. She might have decided that acting in TV shows or in movies just wasn't interesting to her anymore. She hasn't gone into detail about this, though.
Sweeten definitely seems to have liked being on Everybody Loves Raymond, though. In 1999, she was interviewed for The Martin Short Show, and an adorable video can be found on YouTube. At that time, she was eight years old and said that she loved making art.
Sweeten has always been creative. When she was 26, she attended California's Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, according to Country Living. She posted a photo of school supplies, including sheets of paper and a calculator, on her Instagram in January 2017 and wrote in the caption, "Getting first week homework done like it ain't no thang/"
According to The Wrap, Sweeten also sued someone in 2015. She alleged that Bryan James contacted her and said that he would like her to act in a web TV show called Youthful Daze. He also wanted her to put some money up for the project.

Part of the deal was that Sweeten would be able to be involved in creative decisions like who would be acting in the project. Sweeten said yes and then, according to The Wrap, she realized that he went back on his word.
She wanted at least $28,020. The Wrap included an update on the story and explained that the attorney representing James said that everything that Sweeten said was incorrect.
TMZ reported in March 2016 that Bryan James wanted Madylin Sweeten to give him $1.5 million. He said that she made him look bad with the lawsuit. There is no news about what ended up happening here, though.
What Is Everybody Loves Raymond Star Madylin Sweeten's Life Today Like?
Today, Madylin Sweteen is married to Sean Durrie. There are many photos of her husband on her Instagram account, @bettyboopgurl. She shared photos from their honeymoon, which took place in 2022.
In 2019, Madylin Sweeten talked about her backstory in an interview with Voyage LA. She explained that falling in love with her husband helped her find a great community in the Loft Ensemble theater group.
Sweeten said, "As a young woman, living a normal life seemed trivial, useless, and impossible to me.This lead to a quite adventurous lifestyle in my youth. By the time I was nineteen, I had lived the lives of many people. I was lucky enough to see the world, meet my heroes, and work on a prime time television series for nine years. Once my twenties came knocking at my door, I had spent so much time chasing adventures that I had forgotten to take care of my mental health."
She continued that she was "chasing escapes" and "directionless" but "I met a man, a wonderful man, who saw all my flaws and embraced them. Along with him came his boisterous theater company the Loft Ensemble. There I made lasting friendships that turned my life around."

There are two main things that Everybody Loves Raymond fans should know about Madylin Sweeten's life now: she works in the theater and also designs furniture. She shared more about what her life now in her Instagram bio and wrote, "Child Star. Everybody Loves Raymond. Actress. Comedian. Artist. Theater. Cats."
In the summer of 2023, she shared that the play that she has done set design for, Penthesilea, opened. She sounded really proud of what she had done. On July 13th, 2023, she wrote on Instagram, "Penthesilea has its world premiere this Friday and I couldn’t be more excited. It has been a pleasure to bring these stories to life. These women were written out of the history books and we are reviving them. Also, we just look hella bad*ss. Hope to see you there!!!"
In Sweeten's Instagram bio, she has a link to another Instagram account, @everybodylovesfurniture. She is employed by a company called The Joneses, which makes "custom sofas" and "custom beds" according to Instagram.
While this might seem like a bit of a departure from acting, Madylin Sweeten is still being artistic, and she seems to be happy with her life.
Sweeten's Instagram is also inspiring as she posts a lot of videos of her working hard at the gym. Fans who loved her on Everybody Loves Raymond will love feeling like they get to see the real her on her social media account.
